Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch Musical is coming back to the Saenger Theatre this holiday season! Featuring the iconic hits “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch” and “Welcome Christmas”, this musical adaptation tells the story of the Grinch, a grumpy creature who sets out to ruin Christmas for the citizens of Whoville. 

Max the Dog narrates as the mean and scheming Grinch sets out to steal Christmas from the Whos. However, as he observes the joy and happiness that surrounds the holiday, he begins to realize that maybe there’s more to Christmas than he thought. Will the Grinch find a place in his heart for holiday cheer before it’s too late?

Featuring original illustrations by Dr. Seuss himself, the sets and costumes used in this holiday musical transport viewers into the Who’s whimsical world, and help us remember the magic of this time of year. Don’t miss your chance to see this holiday classic come to life on stage!

Dates and times vary, but you can catch the show from December 13 – 16th at 7:30 pm, or on Monday, December 19th and Tuesday the 20th at 2 pm. General admission starts at just $30 per person, making it an affordable outing for the entire family!

According to Biography, Dr. Seuss himself was the inspiration for the Grinch character in How The Grinch Stole Christmas! Apparently, he was disgruntled by the commercialization of Christmas.

For the past 30 years, the Moscow Ballet has brought its world-renowned production to stages across the continent. This year, the company is celebrating its anniversary with a rebranding of the production, now titled “NUTCRACKER! Magic of Christmas Ballet.”

The name was chosen to reflect the diverse international cast that comes together from many parts of the world, to enhance the love of ballet and its artistic form.
