Established in 2016 in New Orleans, the National Fried Chicken Festival (FCF) by Raising Cane’s is a two-day outdoor extravaganza uniting food, music, and culture enthusiasts nationwide. In 2022, the festival unveiled a picturesque new venue along the New Orleans Lakefront, expanding to accommodate more eateries, on-site engagements, and family-centered amusements.
This year, the 2023 FCF boasts its most extensive and diverse culinary lineup yet, with 50+ restaurants vying for honors like “Best Fried Chicken” and the innovative “Best Use of Fried Chicken in a Dish Awards.” Acknowledging culinary excellence, the event also presents the Culinary Icon Award, celebrating remarkable chef contributions. Festivals for Good, a Louisiana-based 501c3 nonprofit, is responsible for organizing this beloved event.
